A concert on the move by Calia Cultura to share year-end wishes

As the year draws to a close, we take a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the values that inspire us. This year, music became our voice, a universal language that brings people together and creates authentic bonds.
As part of the Calia Cultura project, launched in 1990 and passionately envisioned by architect Saverio Calia to promote art, science, and cultural initiatives, we arranged a special performance: a concert on the move that made its way through every corner of our workplace, adding unexpected notes of beauty and joy to our everyday work.

A musical journey through our company

Unexpectedly, department by department — from production to the warehouse, from design to administration — four saxophonists quietly entered, set up their music stands, and began to play, turning ordinary workspaces into unexpected stages filled with music and wonder.
Christmas tunes alternated with pieces from the classical, jazz, and swing traditions, turning each space into a small stage and giving everyone a magical moment of shared delight.
The concert wrapped up in the company showroom, where our entire team came together, turning the music into a moment of dancing, smiles and lively participation.

Talent, territory, and teamwork

We chose a select musical ensemble of exceptional artistic quality, to reaffirm our commitment to local talent and the cultural richness of our region.
The initiative was born from a collaboration with the M.A.T.E’. and Solisti Lucani association and featured the Soranno Sax Quartet: Vito Soranno on soprano sax, Marianna Di Ruvo on alto sax, Piervincenzo Martello on tenor sax, and Fabio Montemurro on baritone sax. Accomplished musicians who chose to perform together, merging their talents into a single, harmonious voice.
A reflection of who we are as a company, where every talent counts and teamwork lays the groundwork for strong, sustainable growth.

Culture, accountability, and vision

For us, culture is a cornerstone, inspiring vision, awareness, and a sense of belonging. For more than thirty years, Calia Cultura has embraced this spirit, supporting initiatives that celebrate beauty and bring people together.
For the year-end greetings, each employee received the 2026 calendar along with a greeting card and a box of chocolates from the AIRC Foundation, a gesture that attests to our ongoing commitment to cancer research and our care for the community.
2026 will be a landmark year for our company, as we celebrate the centenary of the birth of our founder, Liborio Vincenzo Calia — a forward-thinking man who always put people first. His words continue to guide us today: “Machines help us, but what truly matters is the work done by people,” and “Cultivate your talent, fear nothing” (*‘Nan v scet assrmmonn!’ in the local dialect).
